Synopsis:
Earth, Fire, Air, Water – they have more power than you dream.
Ever since her ex-boyfriend spread those lies about her, Becca Chandler is suddenly getting all the guys—all the ones she doesn't want. Then she saves Chris Merrick from a beating in the school parking lot. Chris is different. Way different: he can control water—just like his brothers can control fire, wind, and earth. They’re powerful. Dangerous. Marked for death.
And now that she knows the truth, so is Becca.
Secrets are hard to keep when your life’s at stake. When Hunter, the mysterious new kid around school, turns up with a talent for being in the wrong place at the right time, Becca thinks she can trust him. But then Hunter goes head-to-head with Chris, and Becca wonders who’s hiding the most dangerous truth of all.
The storm is coming . . .

“Lightning struck five feet away. Becca screamed. Then lightning hit the other end of the bridge, almost directly hitting the Guide. Chris froze. Another bolt, five feet off. The man darted back, away from the bridge, fighting to keep his footing in the wind. Another bolt. And another. Lightning rained from the sky, targeting their enemy. The Guide ran. "Yeah," growled a voice from behind them. "Watch that fucker run now. ”

I have wanted this book for quite a while but when I did get I still didn't read it straight away and I don't know why because I loved this book...

I'm not a huge fan of this cover and I think that mainly comes down with the model used, I really don't think they represent any of the brothers even the one at the front looks too old to be Chris, there should be two that look identical as well seeing as they're identical twin brothers. I do love the colour as it represents the element that is portrayed in the book.

As soon as I started Storm I fell in love with it, I was so drawn into the world in which Brigid Kemmerer created I wanted to read just one more chapter and even read the end so I know how everything turns out. There was a few twists and turns that I never expected and even though I did read the last page there was still surprises along the way. There was so much action going on throughout Storm that I was never bored and it was interesting the way the use of elements was used as it made it different to other books using the elements. What I liked was that the romance wasn't the main focus of the story which surprised me as usually I love loads of romance in the books I read but because the rest of the story was so entertaining I didn't feel like I missed out on the romance. The ending was good as there was a bit of a cliff hanger but not much of one which for me is the best way to end a book in a series.

I loved nearly all of the characters and the only ones I didn't like were the ones that we weren't supposed to like. Becca was a great female role who started off being the one to help the guy out of a fight but even though she seemed like this strong person there was also a weak side to her but that was just because of the things she goes through so it was very understandable. I loved Chris he was so sweet and caring with a hint of danger which made him a great male lead character. I'm not sure what I think of Hunter as at the beginning I liked him then towards the end not so much so I'm hoping that when I read Hunter's book that I will like him more than I do at the moment. I loved all of Chis's brothers especially Gabriel he was so funny but also had a very dark side to him, I can't wait to read his book so I can hopefully see a softer side to him.

Overall this was a great start to the series and I am so glad I have the next two books waiting for me because I have a feeling this series could just get better and better!

“So let me get this straight.”... “He threw the note at Tommy and then told him to fuck off? Or do I have it backwards?” “I’m detecting some sarcasm.” “And then got himself sent the principal’s office because he was ready to defend your honor?” “Quinn.” “Her friend waved a hand. “No, I think you might be on to something. This is clearly an elaborate plot to screw with you. He asks you out, he defends you from that meathead—what next?” Quinn’s eyes flashed wide in mock surprise. “Crap, Bex, do you think he will do something truly horrible like buy you flowers?”
