Synopsis:
Johanna Walker knows what she wants. And that's a strong, steady, financially secure man who will treat her well and look after her and her little brother, Cole - something her parents have never done.
But when she meets the gorgeous Cameron MacCabe, a new bartender at work, Jo can't deny the instant and undeniable attraction she feels. Cam doesn't fit into her strict specifications of her perfect partner at all - but for once she is tempted to let her heart rule her head.
And as their intense connection grows, Jo has to stop hiding the truth about herself and her family. Is Cam prepared to accept Jo for who she really is? And is Jo willing to let someone into her life for keeps?

I was given a review copy of this book via netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I'm not too sure about this cover as for me it doesn't stand out from the crowd. I do like the misty look of the cover and the colours but that's about it.

I have to admit I made a mistake in reading this book as I thought I had clicked on book one and it wasn't until about 30% that I noticed I wasn't reading the first book. That being said it didn't matter that I hadn't read book one as it seems that this series can be read as a stand alone but I would have liked to see how things started with certain characters. I loved this book from the moment I started reading it as it was so addicting. There was definitely some insta-lust which for me is more realistic than the insta-love so I was happy with how things started. The chemistry between Jo and Cam jumped out of the pages and couldn't help but want everything to work out for them. I liked that it wasn't just the romance that took centre stage but also the love of friends and family. I even liked the darker side to the story as it kept me on the edge of my seat making it all the more entertaining. Loved the ending as it was so sweet and every question answered that involved Cam and Jo there was a few things that were set up for future books which has got me very excited, I just need to go back to the beginning of the series before I can fall in love with any other characters.

Loved pretty much all the characters and I also like that the main characters from book one are featured as it gives me hope that we will also get to see more from Cam and Jo as I wasn't ready to say goodbye to them. At first I didn't think I was going to like Jo as she seemed a bit too shallow for my liking but the more we found out about her the more I was able to understand where she was coming from and I was able to forgive the shallowness. Cam I loved from the moment he came into Jo's live as he was so sweet and caring, although there was a moment there when I thought he acted a bit out of character but in the end I didn't mind. I felt that Cam was good for Jo as he was able to make her a better person. I loved Cole and I'm so happy that he's going to get his own book.

Overall Down London Road was a great read and I can't wait to read more from this series.
