Synopsis:The heart-stopping conclusion to the New York Times bestselling Shatter Me series, which Ransom Riggs, author of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children and Hollow City, called "a thrilling, high-stakes saga of self-discovery and forbidden love."
With Omega Point destroyed, Juliette doesn't know if the rebels, her friends, or even Adam are alive. But that won't keep her from trying to take down The Reestablishment once and for all. Now she must rely on Warner, the handsome commander of Sector 45. The one person she never thought she could trust. The same person who saved her life. He promises to help Juliette master her powers and save their dying world . . . but that's not all he wants with her.
The Shatter Me series is perfect for fans who crave action-packed young adult novels with tantalizing romance like Divergent by Veronica Roth,The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, and Legend by Marie Lu. Tahereh Mafi has created a captivating and original story that combines the best of dystopian and paranormal, and was praised by Publishers Weekly as "a gripping read from an author who's not afraid to take risks." Now this final book brings the series to a shocking and satisfying end.

I've had this for a little over a year now and I have finally gotten around to finishing this series and what an epic ending to an amazing series...

Another stunning cover in the Shatter Me series and although I do love it I don't love it as much as the second book as I preferred the colours used in the second one more than I did in this one.

I loved the first book and even though I enjoyed book 2 I still didn't think it was as good as the first but I'm pleased to say this final book was back to it's very best. I tend not to read the end of dystopian series as the ones that I have read wasn't ended in a way that blew me away but this one has made me want to finish those other series although this one may have spoilt me for all the ones I need to read as Ignite Me blew me away and then some. Everything about this book was perfectly written in way that had me enthralled. There was a few twists and turns that I didn't see coming but I was ok with them as they added even more to the story and they where done in a believable manner. I loved the romance in this story as it wasn't the main focus but what romance that there was, was cute and endearing. The action at the end had me on tenter hooks. As for the ending I loved it although I would have liked to see into the future I didn't mind too much as the door is left open for a return.

The characters in the Shatter Me series are the most evolved characters that I've ever read about. Juliette is the most changed from the first book where she was a shy, introverted, fragile person to someone who takes charge and leads the fight and not a fragile person which I was pleased about. Warner I have always loved but even he has shown a more tender and vulnerable side to him. As for Adam I hated his changes as some of the things he said was awful. Kenji has to be one of my favourite characters ever as he is so funny and without him this series would have been completely depressing but even Kenji showed a more vulnerable side.

Overall, Ignite Me was an amazing end to an amazing series and I can't wait to read something new from Tahereh Mafi as she is one talented writer.
