NEWSOULAna is new. For thousands of years in Range, a million souls have been reincarnated over and over, keeping their memories and experiences from previous lifetimes. When Ana was born, another soul vanished, and no one knows why.
NOSOULEven Ana's own mother thinks she's a nosoul, an omen of worse things to come, and has kept her away from society. To escape her seclusion and learn whether she'll be reincarnated, Ana travels to the city of Heart, but its citizens are afraid of what her presence means. When dragons and sylph attack the city, is Ana to blame?
HEARTSam believes Ana's new soul is good and worthwhile. When he stands up for her, their relationship blooms. But can he love someone who may live only once, and will Ana's enemies—human and creature alike—let them be together? Ana needs to uncover the mistake that gave her someone else's life, but will her quest threaten the peace of Heart and destroy the promise of reincarnation for all?

I received this for my Birthday 2 years ago and I have now finally gotten around to reading it! It was worth the wait as I did enjoy it.

This is one of my favourite covers as it is just stunning. I love everything about this cover especially the colours as they make the cover stand out even more.

When I first started this book I actually wasn't sure I was going to like it as for the most part I was bored. I didn't mind that in the end as it was needed to build the world that Meadows created. I loved that it was completely different to other books that I have read. I felt that it was very beautifully lyrically written  which I think worked well the nod to the music. The slow build of romance was great to see and they seemed so sweet together even if they didn't want to admit it. There was a bit of predictability that I usually don't mind but I wanted something different with this book. I kind of liked the ending as a few questions was answered but also left it open for it to continue into the rest of the series I just don't feel like I need to rush to continue the series even though I already have the second book waiting!

For most part I wasn't quite sure about the characters as I felt it took them a while to get to know each of them it's even harder when most of them used to be other people. Ana was a really sweet character which surprised me especially when we find out more about what happened and happens throughout her life. She was also emotionally strong person even if she doesn't agree. Sam was another sweet character that I liked as he was always helping Ana when no one else would. In the end apart from the ones that we where supposed to despise I liked I just didn't love them.

Overall this is more of a world building book so at times it was hard to love but I'm hoping that will change in the next book.
